Seal Watching Tours
The calm harbour waters lying on the eastern side of Hayling Island are an area of significant outstanding natural beauty. Covering 74km sq, the harbour waters create a natural border between Hayling Island and the Sussex coast. Within the harbour we find an incredible array of wildlife including sea-birds, wild fowl, marine life and a quietly nestling population of resident seals.
The harbour offers a perfect home to the seals as it is safe and well protected, a perfect venue for them to rest up in between offshore fishing sorties.
We offer regular short trips leaving from the top of Hayling into the harbour to watch the seals relaxing in their home environment. Trips are 1hr 20-30mins long and depart from Northney Marina, with free parking and onsite facilities including meal options at the delicious Salt Shack cafe.
